Can’t complain about the courtesy car I’ve been given. It’s brand new. Only got 100 odd miles on it and it drives nice.

Evening Dave! Gutted to see the car in that condition!
All is not lost! Do me a favour. DM me your email address please. Reg, mileage and what insurance company is dealing with it please.
Hopefully I can help!
It’s gay. Have a word with yourself.
What spec is the Mini? I had a Cooper has a hire car a few months ago and it was alright to be honest. Not quick, but still good laugh. Seemed to have mountains of grip.
Cooper S goes well and JCW’s go very well. Pop and bang on lift off in sport mode. Lol!It’s a Cooper mate. Yeah it certainly grips well. The Cooper S must be a riot.
Any progress with it @Sunglasses_Ron?
Contact them yourself otherwise you'll be waiting ages, ring them every other day if you aren't hearing from them first. No mate. Still waiting to be contacted by the other parties insurance assessor.
Will that sucks. No mate. Still waiting to be contacted by the other parties insurance assessor.
Great news mate! The insurance assessor came today.
He said that the car is in very good condition and thinks it’s very possible that repairs will be authorised.
Just got to wait for him to do his report and the he said that I may have to get a couple of quotes to get it repaired.
Great news mate!
Good news mate, at least it won't be catergorised?
Sounds like it's heading towards a happy ending then. I hope it moves along a bit quicker now though mate. How long has it been now?
Amazing how long it takes. Been almost a month since my Mondeo got hit. Mine was a definite write-off, so that was sorted pretty quickly, but I dread to think how long the liability business will take. Got a letter from her 'solicitor' claiming all sorts of nonsense, so I can see mine lasting ages.
Hope you get it all sorted quickly mate
Any updates
??He hasn't even got the balls to put a spoiler on it.That’s not good mate - stick a turbo in it [emoji106]

What's changed Ronald? I thought it was looking promising?
? So it's looking like a write off then? Will it still be viable to buy back and repair yourself? The quote for repairs I got back from an estimate I arranged. Huge amount of work.

Why has it taken so long Dave? That's crazy!
Also weird that you got an estimate after the assessor looked at it.
Idea is the estimate let's the assessor compare costs with the value of the vehicle. I written off cars within 24 hours of accident for years now! Weird.
Initially took ages because the insurance company were apparently carrying out indemnity checks.
I got the estimate because that’s what accident exchange told me to do mate.
I’m fully expecting it to be declared a total loss tomorrow. Just want it sorted either way now tbh.
Shame to hear that. Now the insurance wrangling occurs.
What car and colour is the replacement? Bet it’s one I’ve been looking at lol.
Fancy a Meg 250?
