Hey guys, right today like alot of RS owners i got to my final tether with the gear stick movement and something had to be done, fitted a new dog bone which i dont think has done much because the one that came off was fine...
I looked at the mount on the drivers side and noticed a gap between the rubber and metal so when you let off there is a fair bit of room for it to move, then i remembered from my 306 rallye days it was the same on those, and people chocked them using polyurathene rubber or a metal bracket etc so i decided to do the same...with a bit of rubber for now, The result is a much smoother and less jerky ride
gearstick only moves now cause of the actually play in the stick, anyone know of any fixes for this ?
Pic of my work (awaits being slated)
