Thanks Dan, i was going to put up a wanted add for them but knowing my luck id end up with a knackered set.
Im running out of time so i thought the best way was to order a set of cup shocks and use the bushes, its an expensive way of doing it though. lol

Looks amazing, Billies look great! Kinda of wish you went with BC and had the gold bits powder coated silver, would've tied in with the theme of the car nicely.

I went with the billies because they are a well proven shock mate with inverted front dampers, i don't need damping adjustment as ill never track the car.
Once its back on the road then i might just do that, ill contact the Renault near to TEG.
Maybe even put it in there showroom on display for a while, we will see.

Projects cars always do Scott, it's a constant test of character with the amount of things that need doing 1 thing after another. For me it helped to write everything down on paper so i had something to refer too all the time. It never ends, there's always something to do

Misses collected the bolts i sent away for plating.
They look mint, how does plating work? Surely it would just flake off or affect the threads no??

They hang the bolts up and run electricity through it.
The plating is a liquid and then is attracted to it.
There are videos on YouTube mate if you want to see.
And no it won't flake off or causes any problems with the thread's.
I can't stop looking at your photos in this thread lol. Must have been though them a ridiculous amount of times now. Such an amazing job you've done with this car.

I decided to up grade the audio in the car and being as my HU wouldn't low pass the speakers it meant that i need to run a 5 ch amp which had these controls in it.
This was my choice, no sub yet. Once what i have is fitted then i will be taking the car to the shop and trying a few subs in the boot to see what i like.
Started to sound deaden the doors.
The MTX components are a little bit bigger.
All fitted after a bit of messing about.
The air con has been gassed with no problems, its running at 4 deg which is nice.
So yesterday i wanted to get it back on its wheels as it is booked in for its MOT 1st thing Monday morning.
Slam panel fitted.
The bonnet catch was looking a bit rusty.
New one fitted (yes the rusty nuts will be getting replaced)
It helps if you have a little 10 year old helping fit the amp power cable.
(what a s**t job)

What sound deadening did you use and where did you get it from?

Hmmmm shes fine, maybe not to happy shoving our baby into the foot well. flol
We have been together for 18 years now, she knows what i'm like and tbh would rather i was outside messing with the car and happy than being indoors driving her mad/getting under her feet.
On a more serious note we/she has enough on her plate with her brother so she is wrapped up in that.
