Hi guys n girls, seeing as I've owned my Clio since 2008 and find myself signed off work I thought I'd do a progress thread for the Inferno, so here goes.
I bought the Clio in September 2008 after starting work at a Renault Dealership, saw the car on my first day there and had bought it 3 days later! Full cup spec on approx 19,000 miles with added A/C and Recaro Trendlines, also had tinted windows which I'll remove at some point when i don't have pov spec rear seats for everyone to see!! Unfortunately all the pics I took from that day were lost when my last laptop crashed.
Here's one pic from when i first got the car and a couple a few months later, where It's still standard bar a harness I had lying around.
It stayed standard until 2010, when it went to Ktec and had a full service including all belts etc, coilovers, solid top mounts and a remap.
Fitted a black front diamond and french style plates but after a couple weeks got pulled and fined so now only use them for pics and shows/meets etc.
pics before coilovers.
pics after.
Since then I've only really done minor mods as follows.
Carbon engine cover from ebay for £25.
Set of orange harness'.
Sabelt Renaultsport steering wheel and blue dash inserts to match the blue on the wheel, alloy footrest.
Silvervision bulbs, skoda splitter as the original fell off and got run over and a trs tow strap which only lasted a couple weeks before i realised the error of my ways and that it looked naf on a roadcar and removed it!
Had all four wheels refurbed by south west wheel refurbs who did an amazing job, i forgot to take pics before i had them done but they were the usual state of kerbing marks and i also wanted them slightly darker than stanrdard cup anthracite wheels so had them done in aston martin sparkling graphite.
Added some carbon bullets from Chris Powell off here, look great and top notch work.
And my most recent mod is a Ktec cat back exhuast system.
Standard exhaust pics.
New exhaust pics.
And here's how she looks today, recently added some aero wipers too, probably forgotten things too.
Thanks for looking, c+c welcome, and i will try to keep this updated with anything else I do.
Cheers
Simon.
