After weeks, maybe months of enduring crap radio reception due to my stubby roof aerial ive finally conceded defeat today and refitted the standard Reno one!

Now, due to my spoiler the aftermarket aerial has to be 3-4" maximum! So what have people got and whats the best to save reception from dieing?

heres a better pic of mine, and tbh I think that ctr aerial will be too long! Mine is about 3mm clearance when boots open fully!

yeh but that pic i posted and the one thats just been posted have cup spoilers on!! they look bout the same as urs IMO

mine has the Utopia spoiler ontop tho mate, believe me its higher than a Cup spoiler

does ur utopia not have the LED indicators in it??

i cant see them!! or im blind LOL



ive fnd i cant use any other arial other then standard cause they dotn bend as much

the CTR ones are £19.50 not a tenner!

no it doesnt mate, i know some do but i bought mine from here so im not even certain its the correct name! lol!

ah right fair enough!!

i just stick with the standard one, as it bend perfectly....any other one and it bends but scratches the spoiler

get an aerial that goes on your windscreen instead - literally sticks in place and you can hardly see it - if its good enough for mercedes then its good enough for me! then you can have whatever you like on your roof.
