maisto is alot better than bbuargo, well the were when i was collecting lol. also if your looking for rare racing cars (lke ice racers, dakkar rally, wrc etc), then solido tend to be the only ones who do 1:18, and can usually be found in tk-maxx

Here are mine back from the days when i was fully into plastic cars modeling scene, and when bodykits were popular

All are plastic kits - glued together, bodys are handpainted with spraycans and handpolished, other details are painted with brush, and some of them have handmade bodykits (celica, rx7, supra) ...i left a lot of my spare time building this models

All of the new cars have them. Quite detailed for 1:43 scale too! the Honda ones have the earth decal on.

I'm not really into collecting model (although I've got a mint 1998 Porsche 911 GT1 and I'm after a 1*2) cars but I was in TK-Maxx a couple of weeks ago and couldn't resist a Solido Clio Cup racer.

The quality's nae bad for a tenner either!
