Skoda Paint - Swirl Removal

ive got a Fabia vRS and im pretty sure the previous owner washed it in car washes, i didnt think too much of it when i bought it as ive got a PC and quite an arsenal of products/pads etc

however, how hard is that paint !......

3-4 passes with 3M FC+ on the green compounding pad, and yes its better, but it would take 10-15 passes to make it acceptable, maybe even 20 to be perfect, and no way am i spending that amount of time on it lol

whats more aggressive than FC+ ?..........Menzerna PG ?.........Poorboys SSR3 ?

ive actually got SSR3 but havent tried it yet, i presumed the FC+ would be an equal to it

You assume right! i'm Very surprised FC didn't have the desired result!

ive posted on DW and someone said they have a vRS, and 2 passes of G10 tackled it, i dont know why but something like that wouldnt have any effect on mine, G10 is only a finishing polish

surely the swirls are not that deep !?

If its similar to my GOlf, i did a few passes with Megs 83 and 80 and Menz 3.02 etc. It looks very good but still shows a few swirls, i have just accepted it but it is miles better than before!!

i used it on my mates ST which had some of the worst swirls and scratches ive seen and it worked a treat , followed with a finishing polish

a Focus ?

i dont think the paint is as hard on Fords as on VAG cars
