Smiffy's Clio Sport 182

Hi All,

I have been on Clio sport for a couple of years now in the background just looking at other projects and was just itching to own one, In August 2014 i purchased one of a lad in Nantwich Crewe, Ticked all the boxes FSH belts been done etc,

Previous cars before this was starting with -

Fiesta Mk5 Zetec S, BMW 318ci M Sport, Fiesta ST Mk6 , Seat Leon Cupra R,
I thought it was about time i started a project thread as i have been buying new things and planning on buying a lot more new parts, So thought this would be a good way to keep a log of it all.

Up to now the list i have bought so far is as follows -

Snappy steering wheel (FITTED)
Genuine Renault Sport Mats (FITTED)
Boot Mat (FITTED)
Rs Sport Badge (FITTED)
Battery cover (FITTED)
Cooksport springs (NOT FITTED)
Genuine front shocks and dampers (NOT FITTED)
Genuine Bottom Arms (NOT FITTED)
Pure Motorsport solid top mounts (NOT FITTED)
ABS Rings (NOT FITTED)
Whiteline rear anti roll bar (NOT FITTED)
Genuine oil,filter and coolant (NOT FITTED)
Brembo front and rear pads plus new brake fluid from G172 (NOT FITTED)
4 NS-2R (NOT FITTED)
Brake caliper refurb (To be done 28th March by Biggred)
Wheel refurb (Booked for 28th March by Sprayed by robbo in Bolton)


I have probably missed quiet a few parts, There seems to be new parts everywhere, I am currently getting ready to go to the Nurburgring on the 18th May,
Anyway instead of the chat here some pictures of my previous cars and then the Clio with some pictures of parts purchased.

Now onto the Clio -

Another little purchase the other week as well ready for Nurburgring a GoPro Hero 4

Whats your opinion on the 318ci m sport? was thinking of getting one as my next car

About time you got this up Andy That Cupra you had looked a minter.... do like those ST150's a lot.

I'll get my thread sorted over the next few weeks.... we'll get another drive out organised after we've both done our 'ring trips.

Thanks mate, The 318ci was a great car really enjoyed it, The comfort was great and driving feel was great it just lacked that bit of power only being the 2.0 with 150bhp, If i was to get one again id go for the 330ci.

I know mate been meaning to make a thread for a while, Was a great car the Cupra very glad i owned as it was a hot hatch on my list to own,

Good to hear. I will be upgrading from a 1.2 on cheap coilovers so the more power and comfort should be a nice feature haha

About time you got one up, nice to see an already great 182 getting even more love. As @Adam93 says, we'll get another drive out organised, saying that he's on the Nurburgrjng bandwagon now so shall be fun.
