Cheers man!! Im constantly floating between my mothers Home in Doncaster my dads house in Leeds my Uni house in Huddersfield and I work in Wakefield haha so that's why I put Yorkshire in the post haha there seems to be a fair few of you in the area and so far they all seem top!! In fact everyone on here are all a lovely bunch of folk! Really is a decent little community

Had a good chance to get some work done this weekend with a good mate of mine Dom Narf cheers for the help mate. Managed to sus out that my car was running on its cold man so fitted a new CTS (coolant temp sensor) and thermostat at the same and flushed the jiz looking coolant out and filled it with some lovely fresh red stuff haha. Swear that coolant had never been changed from factory it was minging!! Didn't fancy that freezing and cracking my block!!

KTR induction kit looks nuts and sounds well probs does nothing for performance! Ah well it's worth it IMO lol I reckon when it comes to a custom remap and RSTuning that will benefit it.

KTR 2.5" decat to tie the "Ultra" performance exhaust up just nicely!!

Pure Motorsport Gear linkage fitted! One word WOW!!! Feels nuts and looks nuts!! Transforms the the feel of the car!!

Just waiting to fit strut brace and solid top mounts

Funny you should say that as I've literally spent up. Ahaha had to save an emergency cash fund for the Gf's Xmas present haha! Money from my year out placement funded most of this but that's dried up!

Hmmm sounds too good to miss mate but the misses is up from Swindon this weekend and I don't think she'd appreciate it somehow! You never know tho worth an ask! You heading out from your place?

Ohh found out why it had the elusive "Random misfire" no4 injector was working but at like 75% so sacked that off and she's sweet now.

Track developments. They did a custom build order like 3 year ago. A chap on here never fitted it so sold me it! Was chuffed when I received it. Right piece of kit the adjustablity is nuts probs too much lol and build quality is great. On rose joints and powerflex bushes.

That's what I thought too mate. These aren't meant to rust as bad either haha which is a bonus. It's the little things which make the difference. All stainless hardware and built buy a reputable chassis and suspension specialist.

Right chaps! I have some important testing results to share with you all. Finally I have some confounding evidence that the rear strut brace works on the 182's!!!!

Stopped my shopping from flying around the car at high cornering speeds! Best buy yet! Can't recommend one enough!

Finally got around to fitting all new uprated engine and gearbox mounts and twisted dog bone mount. Engine and gearbox mounts from vibra-technics and lower dog mount was powerflex. Absolutely transformed the car and whoever says the vibration is unbearable IMO is absolutely being a little girl. Slight and I mean slight dash rattle on tickover but as soon as you rev it, it goes only really notice it when it's cold tbh.

not sure if its common with these mounts but found I had to die grind away some of the gearbox mount away to get it to slip over the stud little frustrating but went on okay after this the paint was making an interference fit was like 3/10th of a mm

Also had right bloody mare changing my bloody windscreen washer pump

broke my windscreen puller so bought a beefed up ball joint splitter which was a tight fit but did the job an absolute beauty!!!

even cracked out my blow torch at one point these buggers were on tight! Well and truly lubed up when they went back on

Fitted new pump after I was given the wrong one @Feirny came to my rescue[FONT=.HelveticaNeueUI] top[/FONT] lad!

think its a 172 pump on the left so if any needs one give me a PM lol 182 pump on the right is correct for my car the 90 degree one.

Sorry for the lack of updates been a busy chap combining uni with work is not easy!! It's like having two full time jobs!

Anyway...removed the carbon canister quite gladly actually as upon further inspection it was full of bloody water! So no idea if that was misting lovely water vapour into my inlet or not but anyway that's been sacked off and blocked up.

For any if you interested in weight, it weighs sod all lol but every little helps weighed just over a kilo with pipes but I'm guessing the water contributed to some of that,

Originally I blocked off the line from the tank, this was only temporary as it was causing a vacuum in the tank. You could physically here it whining after a short journey and feel the pressure when taking the cap off, so I'm guessing it used the canister as a breather too.

changed the bolt for a one way breather I pinched of my mx bike. Looks nifty and does the job perfect! Allows air to be sucked in but doesn't vent fumes near my exhaust. You can buy these for like £7 in pretty much any colour new.

Did my first track day at Bedford Autodrome on the 15th and was absolutely fantastic! One of the best days of my life! I've been a Motorsport Track side mechanic for nearly 2 years now and been all over the world to different tracks and events working but for the first time I actually got to rag my own car around the track instead of watching and working from the pits. Was priceless to me.

fitted new pads and discs on the fronts and changed the fluid to some of that wicked ATE super blue racing stuff fantastic for bleeding through from the old stuff!!

And a big thanks to NorthloopCup who provided me with a wider throttle pedal plate at £14 its probs the best money I've spent on the car. Really worked great on track and doesn't get in the way on the road. Highly recommend. Get in touch he's got a couple more sale. But there selling like hot cakes so pull your finger out that includes you Narf

There's been a lack of updates for a while due to mass of exams, revision, work, partying (getting a upper second BEng Degree) and formula student! Just not enough time in the day to do everything!!! Will try and get a couple of pics of the bits and bobs I've been up to, the real interesting stuff is still yet to come.
