Snapped two wheel bolts.

  1998 BMW e46 323i
front near side, ages ago like a last winter the locking wheel bolt snapped when i was driving along. so i ran with 3 bolts no worries

yesterday was putting my wheel back on and crack: another wheel bolt snapped. so i now have two bolts only and i'm drivin around cr@pping myself in case the wheel falls off. the bolts are the top right and bottom right corners if you imagine the bolts as 4 corners of a square.

how likely is my wheel to fall off before i get it seen to, hopefully today?

as long as you dont push it too hard you should be fiine, and if it does fall off, take is as a learning curve, to torqe them up right, and keep an eye on them. Thenagain a brake disc with one side flat always make an amusing amount of sparks, It's happened to me before, just take it easy, and fix it quick!

Sounds like someone been putting the wheel nuts on to tighter 90NM they should be +-10%

You should be fine why not sure your spare wheel nuts though?

my locking wheel nut is stuck fast. the one that broke yesterday is fairly stuck too.

i had my tires put on by a place that does truck tyres. i snapped my tools trying to remove the bolts last time. had to get garage down road to use a huge bar to loosen them.

not happy!
