the engine covers slits over intake manifold are thinner on the 2nd picture?

i think its his old 1.6 cover on a f4r engine possibly using the 1.6 multibracket.
i could be wrong mind so thinking outside the box

yes both f4r 136 brake and then the 1*2 engine is f4r
i could be wrong mind but everything looks identical between the k4m and the f4p and f4r

Other than the induction kit, his engine bay and a Dymaniques engine bay still look identical to me,
we still have zero proof it's a 2.0L in his car, just this badmanz word on it innit bruv.

He said 'i've had it checked out' how exactly, compression test?
He seems like the kind of pellet that would say his 1*2 is running 200bhp because it has a filter and stainless exhaust.

Personally I think he's full of sh*t, but hey I could be wrong, maybe he's a genuinely honest illiterate chav.

thats 100% a K4M, its running the 1.6 engine cover due to the way it runs in line with the left hand engine mount. the 1.6 engine cover doesnt fit over the 2.0 inlet manifold and i dont think the inlet manifolds will be interchangeable

it could possibly (if possible) be a 2.0 bottom end running a 1.6 top end if they fit but who would go to that length?

Where would the engine code be on his shed? I'll text him saying its for the insurance as it'll be going on track and theyre requesting it.

See if he sends a picture.

That is definitely a 1.6 - k4m engine. (Top picture is his, bottom is mine)

I think the main difference is that he's swapped the K&N for some sort of jet engine.

Also text him for some more info but no reply yet :(

Shall we do a whip round then? He did say he'd take 600 for it
