Damn women drivers!!
I was sitting in my front room last night watching the T.V when a heard a loud 'crack' outside. My Girlfriend, who was sitting next to me, jumped up and looked out the window, turned to me and said "someone has just hit you car!" I initially thought she was taking the piss and said "yeah OK", she said "No really someone HAS hit your car get outside quick". I ran outside to see that some dozy mare had reversed straight into it and was standing outside her car eith a blank expression on her face. I said to her "dont you use your f**king mirrors?" she replied "yeah but i didnt see it" I said "you wanna open your eyes then". She started to get an attitude and said "Its only a scratch anyway i didnt hit it hard". I said "look I'm a police officer (true untill wednesday) and i could report you for driving without due care and attention, so less of the attitude" To that she said "sorry mate" and was fully co-operative!! Got all details from her but couldnt check the damage because it was dark, at the time it didnt look too bad.
I got up early this morning to check the 182. Turned out that the whole of the rear passenger wheel arch was pushed in and the rear quarter panel was creased. There was also a scratch all the way down the passenger side.
Immediately got on to Directline this morning and told them about it. My car has already been picked up for repair and i have got a hire car till the work is done. Really excellent service from directline.
Anyway thats my bit for the day.
