Something a little different

Car  BG 182
So brought the 182 a few months back, completely standard. It now stands like this...

New RS badge
Cup spoiler
Coilovers
Anniversary Golf BBS wheels
Carbon badges front and rear

Next to come:
Exhaust system
Black bullets
Satin black upper grill, lower grill
Carbon fog surrounds and rear bumper insert

C+C welcome

I agree it needs more tyre profile and maybe some more front camber with some spacers. Think they would look really good then.

Well I've never seen a private plate in that format/number before!

But regcheck shows it as a 2004 182! Weird, it cheapens it somehow!

The plate is a private plate.

Thanks for the feedback. It needs some spacers and a little camber on the rear but really happy with it.

Tyre profile is 50, which is spot on for what I wanted.

"Screams McDonalds?" No I just wanted to do something different from the norm.

Not to everyone's tastes but I love it and love the colour

If it isn't on Cooksports and Turini's, a lot of people on here will say it looks s**t.

I like it though. Agreed some spacers would finish it off nicely though. What coilovers you running?

Thanks for the good comments! I know Turini's or F1's are peoples main choice which is why I didn't want them!

Coilovers are only the KTR ones. I had Vmaxx on my 172 and reviews said they were a better choice so went with them and I'm impressed so far!

Spacers are on the list, just to measure up for size and I'll order some

Oh no I'm not knocking you for doing something different at all!

I just think slammed & gold wheels on a black car are the number 1 & 2 mods for the typical "car cruise" type 1.2 Clio.

What's weird about his plate? a letter, three digits, space, three letters LNNN LLL perfectly legal or does any thing registered before 2000 not compute for you

f**k me, I was stating I'd never seen a private plate in that configuration.

Ones of that format are usually either 111, 222, 333 etc... Or 100, 200, 300 etc. just never seen one with that combination of numbers.

Cheers for all the good comments! I'm either going to do just black bullets with gold writing or wrap them carbon. Tinted wing indicators are defiantly in the pipe line!

I live in Reading and work in Twyford! Only ever seen a couple around. Hopefully can make it to the meet on the bank holiday and see some/meet people there!
