i must have a different taste to a few because i really do like this car!
I think it looks pretty smart, personally. Good move on the bullets too.
Looks really nice, I think you need some spacers though so they're not sat so far in the arches, other than that it looks cool!

So the clio is moving forward.... I have a half cage being fitted this week, mainly for show use rather than track. It is also booked in to have a Milltek decat system fitted, cambelt, dephaser and water pump changed next month.
I was a little bored at work the other day and knocked this photoshop up...
So last night I put a deposit down on a set of 15" F1's. They aren't the genuine Renault ones, they are the multi-fitment 4x100/108 but were a steal of a price so will be looking like above soon hopefully!

I do love them! And do love the black on black so will just keep certain parts gold, like the cage and bullets.
I just photoshop'd them over the top of my BBS which are 15" too so photoshop should represent how it will set! I do love your car though Cub!

I will keep the BBS for a while until I decide if I will ever use them again. I love the colour and the wheels themselves! The one problem I have with them is the fact they are so skinny. I could space them out more... but as pointed out to a few people at CSS, there is spacers on already! Then the car looks silly from behind if I space them out flush

Thanks, I have always loved black on black. More stealth but want to keep the black/gold combo followed through! Anyone running the HiSpec brake setup? I remember seeing a 172 at CSS with them? Just want to know a bit of feedback on them...

I'm happy with them Tbh mate. They are a prettier kit than the wilwoods I had on my 182. Colour choice is bigger and they fit on standard 280 discs

Your car was immaculate! They do look the part so if performance wise they're good then I think that may be a future upgrade!
Only thing I can't decide is colour.... The gold is a bit far away from my gold, so black or get any colour and have them powered coated to match... (OCD kicking in!)

So updates.... Car went to K-tec on the frdiay before PFC and had cambelt, dephaser, milltek fitted and a few other bits. The guys there were epic and after getting so much done worked none stop from half 8 till just gone 10! Car is a lot smoother and runs so much better now, also sounds better too! So here's a few pics...
Love the wheels and colour is superb. Suits it well. Really like it.

Thanks mate! I'm still undecided on the F1s, they haven't moved since I brought them. I can't find anything like these at a 7/7.5" width
There is already spacers on, only 15mm mind. The front I could space more, but if I space the rear will look stupid because the wheels are so slim.
It's a hard colour to capture ahaha! It's GK1, BBS gold from the Subaru's. I think Dan's last 3 photo's show it the most naturally
