What about the hubcentrics where they bolt to the hub and wheel bolts to spacer, so 8 bolts in total... What's the minimum thickness of those? Cheers.

Don't bother with bolt to hub, wouldn't trust them at all. I had H&R ones on my dCi. They had split in 3 places, 4 of the inserts that the bolts go into had come loose, the wheel bolts were too long and there were no reliefs for them to go into so as I was tightening them it was essentially pushing the wheel away at the same time and the bolts that bolt them to the hub rounded off like they were made from chineseium. They're garbage

Jeez that doesn't sound good!! Surely Eibach ones wouldn't be bad would they? I thought the best way from my very little knowledge of spacers would be to have bolt to hub and then threads with nuts coming from the spacers.... Surely that would be the best solution wouldn't it?!

Sorry I meant for when fitting the wheels and lowering the jack to torque the bolts/nuts, the idea of the wheel not having any hub/spigot and being centered doesn't sound good to me...

I only trust studs and spacers with holes in

Another thing I hated about the bolt to hub type was the fact that I couldn't check if they were tight without taking the wheel off!

That looks sweet doesn't it!!! I really didn't feel the love for putting spacer shims on the rear but it seems to be the popular choice doesn't it.... That car is lovely.....

Just to add some info i measured on my 2005 Cup chassis 182.

Standard hub protrusion 14.2mm

Speedline Turini 16" (Cup fitment ET38.5mm)

Speedline 2118 15" (ET43)

How many of you guys running spacers and coilovers are getting scrubbing or have had to cut/bend/remove bumper brackets to allow clearance?
I want to run a lower ride height with spacers but cant be doing with scrubbing on lock or hacking up the car/wheel arch liners.

Mine scrubs on 16mm spacers and ET40 Rota Slipstreams with 195/50/15 PS3's. Not enough to hit the bracket but enough to rub the arch liner on full lock

Not overly low on the front but there is quite a lot of rake to the car just how it's set up somehow

I run ET43 2118s and 195/50/15 tyres with 20mm front spacers and 10mm rear axle spacers. I did have to hammer the front bracket for the bumper ever so slightly, but the bumper still fits perfectly as OEM.

Zero scrubbing now and i'm lower than @YorkshireKyle

Got a pic at all of how much you have had to bend the bracket?
I assume you don't have any arch liners or are they melted away by the tyre there Louis?

No, I dont have a photo i'm afraid, it wasn't a lot.

I run arch liners both sides, It has worn ever so slightly where tyres have scrubbed in big potholes etc but i've run them for 2 years.

Just hit it with a hammer to bend it until it doesn't catch. I'm pretty sure most Clio owners have had to do it when lowering. It's really not rocket science 😂

It’s not the science of it. I just don’t want to butcher (bend/cut/hit with blunt instrument) my car unlike others do, so I’m asking in advance.

People post their cars low with aggressive fitment but how many tell you it’s been cut to fit, or that it scrubs or you can no longer use full lock with more than 1 person in the car? 🤦🏽‍♂️

It's literally a piece of metal you're bending slightly out of the way that you can't even see, you're not cutting half the car apart to fit a set of wheels!
