Standard Aibox vs Viper

  Clio 172 cup

Hi all

At the moment i have a standard airbox with a K&N replacement filter and i have replaced the passenger side foglight with a airscoop that pipes cold air staight to the bottom of the airbox, I know this is a good system and works very well as this is what clio 16v race cars used in the 90s

My question is this...... if i replaced all this with a viper induction kit will i see any signifigant gain over what im already using, because basically if im only going to get 1-2 bhp more its not going to be very good VFM considering the price they are!!

Opinions???

dont do it, cut a second inlet to the airbox and feed a pipe elsewhere and use the standard piping too

i would probably leave it as it is as the viper wont gain you a deal on top of what youve got already.

Who knows, but that setup sounds pretty good as is.

Never tested it on a 16V/wily, but on the 172 MK2 over the std box with element, it gained 6 peak BHP and 10bhp mid range for about 500-600 rpm.....surprised me no end.
