STOP!!! (new brakes inside!)

Car  clio 200 F4Rt
fitted all new brakes to the 172.

Did the rears a few weeks back, as a wheel bearing went, so i thought it was a good excuse to do the discs and pads too.

Went with K-Tec's disc and pad package, which i didnt realise till they turned up are genuine Renault discs that they get drilled.

Just gotta get them bedded in now, ready for Brands Hatch PFC mag track day next friday! :D

Very nice piece of kit that, looks ace behind the wheels
Is there a massive difference in braking etc?

Good kit, had it on my 172...Hope you got custom lines and the 'correct' pads! Unlike the granite ones i got!!!!

Stud kit makes wheel changes easier

looking good mat, hows the fit with the 2118s? any scratching?

you all need to get yourself some of these from renault, there for the rear but i can see them easily fitting the front. I havnt pushed them right in on the rear.

in answer to the questions...

Kit is approx £800

Runnin gthem with Mintex 1144's, as not too keen on the Hawk pads Compbrake supply.

Still bedding them in, but feel strong already.

Disc is 295mm and fits behind the Speedlines, as long as there are no weights. Which my wheels must be perfect, as only got one or two small ones on the inside edge!

As menstioned stud kits make wheel changing alot easier. Not a problem for most, but i do a fair few track days, so lots of wheel swapping. Also you can get pimp titanium wheel nuts :D
