hi im Chris torte it was time to start a thread. any way this is my flame red clio 172. it has a ktr panel filter and i had some magnaflow silencers laying around from my old e30 so made up an exhaust not finished yet need to make a new hanger but the welder ran out of gas . also spent the weekend fitting a new cambelt de phaser pull water pump and aux belt kit.

Its not to bad atm as i have the cat on still but will decat it when i get a 182 manifold so im thinking of a silenced decat.

I run a yozza with 182 mani and unsilenced link pipe, sounds great, not drony or boomy but not quiet either!

Ah right i think if i do an unsilenced decat it will be to loud atm its perfect. Dose drone a little bit.

not alot to update really apart from getting the exhaust hanger sorted and some cleaning. also my clio sport member ship turned up cheers to the guys who do that.

A long over due update. Well I built a full custom stainless exhaust manifold back with decat,Ported and matched the inlet manifold, ktec style induction kit, raceland coilovers Also think it must be mapped need to get that checked out. Also went along to a Clio sport rolling road day and managed to get a very good result.

Yea that's on the list of things to do I'm not happy with the rear I haven't got the adjuster cups. I'm trying to find some may just make some tho.

Abit of an update fitted a skoda splitter refurbished the wheels and sprayed them black along with the door bullets, fitted some 15mm front spacers and 5mm rear spacers.

Also have a 280mm momo steering wheel to fit once my boss arrives and a cup spoiler to fit once painted. Also got a private plate from my parents for my 21st birthday.

So the car is booked into the body shop next week to have the bumper sprayed as my neighbour drove into my car. Steering wheel fitted with a snap off boss.

Haven't updated this in a while. Got a cobra bucket seat fitted and got the car on track at fcs which I loved. Have got some videos but every one has seen the 1st bit of it where ktec's bonnet flips up.

So after that I got a rear arb, braided hoses and some ozf1s with federal rsrs on. So I should notice a difference in September for the forge action sport day at Combe.

Also took the car along to css14 over the weekend camping which I loved so cheers guys was good to meet some of you and have a laugh and a drink.

Went combe for the forge action sport day and done some track time. Highlighted some issues The car needs bigger brakes, so I plan on fitting some 197 brakes along with some bilstein b14 coilovers for the new year.

Turbo build I've been collecting over the past few months. I'll be using megane 225 Pistons with new shells,rings,supertech valves, gt28 turbo and a typhoon ecu form dan@sjm. I bought a ph1 engine from Luke_Exc so I took a trip up to sjm to meet Luke dan and rich to get the engine and have food, one 16oz burger later I'm struggling to breath and driving home. I'm aiming to have the engine built and fitted for December so I can have the car ready for February.

Not much to update on really. The turbo build has come to a stand still due to a new job and changing from weekly to monthly pay. Finally picked up my fibreglass bonnet from Yorkshire it's been sitting in my sisters living room for 3months. Just need to get it sprayed and order some aero catches.

Not much has happened lately, I got the bonnet fitted just need to get it booked in at the body shop to be painted. Moved the ecu under the glove box and the battery is now in the boot. Almost have all of my parts to get my engine built just waiting for some bits to turn up and ordered some supertech valves from dan@sjm hopefully the car will be done at the end of this month.

Got my valves from dan@sjm so I started the boring task of lapping the valves. Valves all lapped and new valve steam seals fitted and head torqued back down. Just waiting for some bits to come from the engineer and a drill bit for my oil return, once they arrive the engine will be fully built up ready fir the engine swap on the 31st.

Decided I wanted cruise control and my brother has a crashed 172 with cruise control. Swapped it all over last night and sorted my ph1 indicator stalk as the indicators didn't self cancel.
