Strange smell, possibly pollen filter????

  Clio 182
I'm a bit concerned because I had my car serviced about 2 months ago and ever since whenever I switch on my climate control with or without the air-con the air smells slightly strange. Its like a “new'ish car smell” but slightly stronger and I wondered if it was just a case of the new pollen filter needs running in or if its something else. Has anyone else expirenced this???

If its a clean smell they may have put some anitfungal/antibacterial spray into the heaterbox as a part of the service. The air con rad in the heater box gets a build up of bacteria that leaves you with a musty smelly sock type smell if not used regularly so they may have done this to freshen it up.
