Suspension problem

  Clio 1.2 16v
I have 1.2 16v clio and i noticed that my car is not standing straight it was leaning on drivers side, so mechanic told me that my front spring broke and ive ordered new one he changed it and said u should replace the 2nd one too so i bought another one and replaced it but they are higher and little fatter, and there my problems started. When we finished everything i was going for a ride to see how my car goes in corners, i noticed that car is higher than before because of springs and i feel some kind of crackling in my steering wheel and i stopped at parking lot turned the wheel almost till the end and circle around and ive heard that my tires are screeching, and also i hear some kind of noise in my front right wheel like disk pads or something when i press brake sometimes stop making it sometimes just continue, so im asking you guys now to tell me what is the problem because i dont trust mechanics anymore they finish one job then i have to fix something else. Sorry if i didnt write down something good i hope u understand the point. Oh and i had minor problem with back bearings i had to replace both of them, the machanic said that the guy who changed them used hammer and he should use hydraulic press because they have some plastic parts inside and they crack after some time, one was rly damaged and made bad noise other one could stay but i realised that my back right wheel is (dont know correct word is deformed not in perfect shape curved or whatever) so i should probably replace it soon before i find new wheel. I can upload photos if need.

I honestly have no idea what the problem is tbh, you've listed about 10 different problems, none of which I really understand... Try listing the problems one by one, and I'll try and suss out what's going on.

Are you trying to say you have two different sizes of spring on your car? That is definitely not correct.

I have same size front springs, first guy at parts shop told me that they are same as original so i dont need to waste money buying 2 and i didnt, and when we compared them they werent the same so mechanic told me that i need to replace 2nd one aswell because they are different sizes wich is logical so i bought another one and then problems started

So we replaced front springs and after that i started to feel like little cracking in steering wheel in bigger corners and i pulled out on parking lot and try to steer slowly in circles like 20 km/h and my tyres start to screecing and that shouldnt happend

Ok, well do you have a link to the spring you purchased if you purchased it online? Ideally we can suss out why there is a discrepancy in spring sizes, and go from there. It might well be that you have a completely wrong spring fitted, for example 172 springs in a 1.2. The entire suspension is different, so it probably wont work correctly.

theres a link ive ordered from local parts shop but these are the same MAGNUM.
Oh and my friend told me that maybe i have to change steering column that could be reason why my tyres screecing and cracks in steering wheel, what do you think?

The spring you have sent the link for is the correct spring by the looks of it. Are the part numbers definitely the same? Small parts shops are notorious for supplying slightly wrong parts. It would seem unlikely that it would be the steering column, maybe the rack could cause such a noise, but I highly doubt the column could be to blame. If it all started after the spring change however, I should sort that out before you change any other bits.

Then i would say its something to do with the spring. Or the mechanic has done something wrong installing the new springs.
I see you are from croatia so that could be a bit of a barrier :)

The guy in shop asked me what is the cars engine and he was searching for parts from their partners so im pretty sure that springs are fine just little higher and tighter from original ones

The problem with our mechanics is that i live in smaller city and they need people to come to garage so they can earn money then u have problem and they kbow what is happening and that there could be possible consequences after and they dont want to tell you everything just so u can come back to him and pay more, i dont know what to do i know a little bit in theory but suspension is not a game i could try to fix but if i do something wrong it could be dangerous

Have u tried the steering with the car on jacks? Mabe the springs are catching on the shock towers?

It seems highly likely that the wrong springs are fitted. If you could measure the thickness of the coil, you could compare it to the specs of the standard Renault springs.
