Swapping dealers during finance

When I come close to my 3yr final payment on my Clio (not far off), can I go to a completely different Renault dealer and sort out whatever I decide to do (probably part-ex, but may pay the final payment)? Its a franchise here and although I know the finance is actually with RFS I wanted to check I can bugger off to a different dealer.

Reason is my local (Platinum Renault) has officially the most expensive 2nd hand 182 in the country (non cupped, 3k, £14,000) and the other RS such as the 172s are also painfully overpriced (and amazingly they are selling them, only a 2002 £9000 172 with 30k remains at the moment). If as likely I will trade-in for a 182 I would at least like the option of some reasonaly priced second hand models if I cant afford a new one.

Also, do car price guides take account of regional variations? We noticed when my other half bought a MG ZR that cars were way overpriced in Wiltshire, and again now with the Clio it appears to be the same story. It wouldnt be so bad if we got better trade-in prices, but we dont!

But the finance wouldnt be paid up at that stage, the £3100 final payment would still be hanging in the air.
