Test drove a cup today :)!!!!!!!

Was well impressed with it so nice to drive it was a lot better than i expected, not as raw as i thought it might be.

just got a qoute from elephant.co.uk fully comp for £779.10 which i thought was pretty good considering my insurance co (flint insurance, bexley) wanted £1600!!!!!

The sales rep also confirmed that the last order for cups will be the end of november this year and the normal 172 will keep running till the end of next year 2004.....

errr.... i thought it was the other way around..no more 172s and only cups with lots of op extras.... could be wrong though

Thats what i heard on another thread but the sales dude told the cup ends nov and 172 continues......... till 2004???????????

He also said there are no xtras like the sports seats, roll cage etc coming out for the cup and that there is only the climate control option available????

Lol people on cliosport have known this for quite a while.. he probably just told you the Cup was comming to and end to try and get a sale, selling the Cup with all the options at an extra sound most likely.

Yeah i heard it a while back mate ive just heard some people might think that the 172 is coming to an end and the clio cup is gonna continue and that renault will bring out some more options for the cup after the 172 has gone which is just not the case as the cup ends in november thats what i meant.
