Pretty sure I used to blast around in one of these on the original Project Gotham Racing. If not, certainly something very similar looking...too many years ago for me to remember properly. That was a class game though.

I think me and my dad used to drive past a place that specialised in Marcos cars quite regularly, hence having memories of seeing these a lot, along with other Marcos cars. I've seen them out and about at places like Goodwood too, but they definitely weren't common even when new.

Place 2mins down the road always has various Marcois outside in different states.

Agreed. I don't ship many 32's but quite a few R33's. I had a 670bhp 33 in Silver i shipped to the US last month which was lovely.

Its mad 34's are 150k+ plus now.

I just do the shipping and work with a lot of dealers. I can ship parts but tend not to due to the duties involved. Cars are only 2.5% in the US whereas parts can be 40%.

Gran Turismo plays a role. The R34 has just become the poster car for the whole Skyline range. I guess it's just a bit newer and caught the right age range with Gran Turismo, Fast and Furious etc etc.

I'd probably have an R33 personally, but that's because of the silly tuned ones that were coming out of Japan when I was a teenager.

A guy I went to school with has one of those, I think he picked his up when they were "only" £50-60k so it's been a great investment
