Watched him last night pull the block apart and pick out things that were rediculous. It was also the damage that he said it was all along. No-one has heard from him today and no-one really knows what's going on. Unit is closed, phone is off and I've had calls from various pals in the RS departments of Renault ringing up asking just what's going on...
To do a full engine build in this space of time usually wouldn't be clever nor wise, but not as if we can stop now and my tears if it died would flood the midlands canals.

AFAIK it will have a Velsatis modified F4rT head with an irish assortment of valves and a prototype BTMperformance head gasket that fred has been developing.
Will it work? God knows.. Am I scared... God yes. Have I learnt more about cars this last two days and now consider myself an RS specialist that will open a workshop called BTMbirchTec.. No.
