I've spent a lot of time and money on mine and its extremely clean but believe me I use it. Mine is running around 310bhp. This may not seam all that much compared to other evos and imprezas out there. But coupled with the gearbox is a total nutter on the road. The version 2 Sti Ra has the shortest gearbox. The version 3 has slightly longer ratios.

Quite shabby when he first bought it, he's put plenty of time and money in and he's got a nice car out of it.
if you are interested in getting an impreza I can't reccommend an Ra enough. This is my 4th one and by far my best.
