My friends came home from South Africa at the weekend so we all went to Tim Minchin at Eden, which was a brilliant excuse to buy a new camera and be a tourist.
First DSLR, first shots with it, hopefully not too bad if a little generic, I think the main "criticism" I have of my photo's is that I need to learn how to compose a shot properly.
Like the dog shot, Scott.
Great looking 350Z posted above as well, very vibrant colours in the photos.
Martin, the long exposure is amazing and what a fantastic sky!
Here is another of mine from my last night out playing on a rooftop!
I haven't really used my camera a great deal lately, but here are a bunch from the past few months -
Supercharged mini @ London to Brighton 2012
"L" is for learner @ London to brighton 2012
Jenvy TB'd mini @ London to Brighton 2012
Aside from cars I can normally be found throwing myself either in the air or on the floor! I don't normally shoot mountain biking (Dirt Jumping.. No Lycra involved) as i would much rather be riding but I took a few a couple of weeks back that I was happy with..
Went for a walk down the Plym trail to try and play with shutter speeds and learn how to use the camera, I took over 300 photo's today lol
Most of them were f**king terrible, but it was worth it for these 4 -
I met this big boy whilst out on my walk too, he was so sweet. His owner carried on walking up the trail and left him with me for 20 mins because he was so fascinated by my camera haha
Both unedited and taken in fully manual with manual focus two, so my two first attempts at fully controlling the camera
Over exposed in camera to give a high key mono finish, with added ghost on the jetty. It's a very common spot, so thought i'd go for something a little bit different, but keeping the overall scene.
Martin, the Jetty image is superb as is MattT's Le Man's image!
Took a few yesterday whilst I was at the Great Swim in Salford, will be going back to Media City in the winter for some long exposures, great place for photography.
Love this mate, the colours are so vivid, and the exposure is spot on
Just bought a ten stopper so had to go out and try it out today....Wastwater was my location of choice, 65 seconds in the drizzle! Even in colour the filter doesn't disappoint, with very little blue colour cast which is so easy to fix in PP.
