The "Ive taken a pic and I kinda like it" thread

A little river pic from me. Went out on a walk earlier. I think it's a pretty cool pic.

TTRS looks awesome! I think it's a good shot and I like the crop. TBF mate, I thought some of your others on Flickr were decent too. :)

Here's a test on the new 6D earlier in the week.

Used my Canon 50mm f/1.8 MKII lens. Lovely and sharp, I thought.

I was shooting a MTB comp yesterday for a good cause. I tried a couple of these zooming in using a 2nd curtain sync flash, but the keeper rate was shocking. As all proceeds from the sales are going for charity, I ditched creative for reliable. You can also add this effect in PS easily enough. Anyway, I like this shot.

What camera are you using? Looks good. I would have made sure the MX was out the way of the Clio's wing mirror, and turned the Clio's wheels to the left :)

Cheers, I'm using a Nikon d3100 with the kit lens atm. I agree about the wing mirror. If that photo has taught me anything it's to check the positions of things.

I purposefully had the clios wheels straight as it's missing the centre caps so looks a bit dodgy.

I haven't posted in ages I have been shooting weddings for quite some weekends on the trot this summer. Every time I shoot one the confidence grows and I learn more and more.

Here are a few from one a couple weeks back -

I have just started blogging on my website, I am updating it with weddings I have shot over the summer.

First time poster - please be gentle!! I am by no means a photographer.

Bought the missus a 1100D for Christmas last year. She occasionally puts it down and I get a go.

My parents held an open garden this summer so though I would try some shots of the flowers. No tripod - IS lense.

I realise the topic will be a little "fruity" for most but my interest in it has peaked - I really enjoy the close up shots. Currently looking at getting myself a DSLR.

And to finish; A couple from a rent holiday to Pembroke

Sorry for the long post - just keep these all in a folder on my laptop!

Any C&C welcome. I want to learn.

(no auto-focus etc. used in any of the shots)

Its a shame I didn't get the tower in the shot properly but I'll probably crop it out of the shot to be honest.
