Haha. Me too. Engine is now dismantled and going in for sleeving. Drive shafts mocked up for manufacturing. Then engine and gearbox builds, wire ECU and we are away. Still tossing up on ECU's. Either Motec M150 or Emtron KV8. Probably Motec as my tuner is a whiz on them.....Any updates on this mate? Dying to see it in action
Not in the same league and in any case no advanced paddle shift control. What about Haltech?
Australian made [emoji1320]

Motec and Emtron are also Australian! As is Autronic and Adaptronic. For some reason we are good at ECU's!!

I think their new Nexus R5 will do anything, it's a pdm and ecu in one.
It's $$$$ though.
Yeah you seem to be good at ECUs [emoji23]
Didn't the guy from Haltech start Adaptronic?
Yeah, it seems very incestuous. Will be interesting to see how the Nexus progresses. Always takes a while for an ECU to be developed and have all the bugs ironed out - def cool that it has an inbuilt PDM. M150 with paddle shift not much cheaper but now very well evolved and proven. You just can't go wrong with Motec. Emtron new kid on the block. Super competent, good looking software and used on some serious cars but I would have to start a tuning relationship all over again.
Forgotton factor is the cost of tuning. A full tune from no mapping to fully functional can cost from high 100's to 1000's - my guy is a whiz and does not take long to get dialled in hence overall it pays down the cost of a Motec.

Had to look up who he is!!Wouldn't like to pay Shane T prices to tune a Motec [emoji23]
