well my sister has got to the age of driving. test end of this month.
and since i built my clio into a rep that is all she has ever wanted.
we came across a black rep cheap so we got her it.
but it was in a sorry state.

at a glance it looks ok but near enough every panel has a mark. air bag had gone off, dent in rear wing, chassis leg had a slight dent in it, creased bonnet and the front bumper was mullered.

so after spending a little time sat by itself while we were too busy to look at it we set to and made a start to fix some of its niggles.

we bought it in the summer.
and here it is the day i bring it in to start work.

a little bit of a repair and it has the arch looking square again.

now when the sun shone it became clear that the sport bodykit was actually blac gold instead of pearl black. made car look odd. so i had most of it to strip

rub down and some paint and she was looking better

mirror like finish

but the car was looking dull

(bonnets still to re-spray btw)

soo we decided to brighten it up
wheels were in need of a re-firb anyway.

few little finishing touches and she is finished.
heg loves the results

I preferred the wheels black, but otherwise it looks nice Good 1st car anyway. What else are you gonna do to it? Spacers/lowered and it'll look spot on imo

its not going lower, believe it or not that is lowered 40mm on the front!!!
may get spacers
helen likes the red. and its only a couple of hours to change colour if she wants too. tbh the wheels are rubbish anyway.

that would explain why there is no paint in the tops of the wheel arches

Lol yeah, just found the thread (http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=215222) when he sold it way back in March 2007. He sourced the 172 kit then sold it shortly after, probably why the paint was different as he never had them done!
