i thought the point of stealths were they couldnt be seen- or have i misinterpreted?

I wanted the stealth look but the noise was unbearable. It directed the noise down at the road and right back up into the car, total nightmare on motorway. This is as subtle as I could get and difference in noise is night & day.

Ah right. I'm just lucky then as mines not too bad. Starts grating a bit after 2 hrs.

Thanks. Those wheels are a pain in d arse to clean! Especially at the front. Definitely needs a sand and spray over

I ordered some stainless 2.25 inch pipe online, removed the backbox and had a mate tig weld new pipe on. Cut a recess on the bumper and used a 182 exhaust trim to clip in. Sits perfectly, doesn't drone.

Just seen a flame red Ph1 on Pistonheads. £2500. Seems a bit steep considering lack of history. Also I recognise it from somewhere but can’t remeber where, anyone know it?
Still on the look out for one to replace my Octavia....

does it say Cambelt and dephaser done in 2013 so not needed yet?
Would suggest it needs doing in 2018, thats this year, so thats a fair amount of cash.

That would explain the nice looking 205’s in the pictures! Yeah the add is fine and honest, just a little too much. If I wasn’t away with work all week I would be going to have a look.

My thinking exactly.

I’ve just tried to work out if I can go look at it but the world doesn’t want me to 😞 I have zero time pretty much all of January. However never say never, I might work it out somehow as this is exactly the thing I am after. Standard, looked after, little bit of tinkering that can be done and he knows how to write an advert. Hate it when people can’t do that properly.

It's kind of strong money just after Christmas too so you may be lucky and it'll still be around in Feb
However trying to find one for sale is getting harder and harder so may get bought quick. Just can't tell tbh

However the flip side is if it's gotta be a flamer then you don't have much choice.

wouldn't be an exclusive anymore then though and run the risk of devaluing. although spose you just keep original wheels and interior in a shed out the way where they can't hurt anyones eyes, then when you sell sell with both options.

I have storage for the interior and wheels for future value. But don’t want the hassle of doing it. Rather have a red or blue one without the interior swap.

I heard Renault planned to sell the exclusive in more numbers but could only find 172 people that liked the interior enough to buy it.....

I don't actually mind the interior that much...

The seat colour doesn't upset me, but the beige plastics do. Change those to the standard 172 stuff, modify the door cards so they use the leather in the standard grey/blue plastic and I think it would look quite cool...
