Evening CS,
As I'm sure a lot of you know, I used to drive Trophy 433:
Which, unfortunately after an incident last month (see http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?655346-RIP-Trophy-433-500), now looks like this:
Now, I loved that car and after spending a small fortune on it just 2 weeks before, I decided enough was enough. Cars just weren't worth it. I just wanted a car; something sensible to get me from A to B...
That thought lasted around 10 minutes.
So yeah, that brings us up to now. Last weekend, Daniel kindly headed up to mine from Bristol to complete the purchase of my 5th clio, a 1994 16v in Naples Red:
I've done over 700 miles in it since and am genuinely loving MK1 ownership. I had a day off today so decided to treat it to a full detail (thanks to Lesley and Chip for the loan of a machine polisher ):
Sorry about the amount of pics, I got carried away!
Plans wise, nothing really. Just keep it as tidy as it is! I do need to paint the brake calipers (which I would've done today if it wasn't for He Man being the last person to tighten the wheels), re-fix the central locking (which I fixed yesterday, then broke again today) and source another centre cap (after these pics were taken I went for a drive, and only returned with 3, ffs). So if anyone knows where I can get one of those, I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction I may look for a set of turbines at some point too.
Cheers,
Luke.
