Thoughts and valuation on a clio 182 i am looking to purchase

Hi guys, after selling my last 182 i am looking to get another one. I have looked at half a dozen now and they have been more or less disasters One has come up for sale very local to me and i was wanting to get an idea as to its worth as i know mk2 sports arent holding the bes values right now, the spec is as follows:

76k
fsh
30mm eibach springs
gordini blue
standard 182 alloys in silver
interior is very clean
steering wheel slightly melted
tax and mot until summertime
bodywork is more or less immaculate

the following needs done:

new abs sensor as light is on as well as skid light and traction
alloys need refurbed
needs new passenger headlamp control box for xenon


If you guys could help me as to give me an indication as to what it is worth that would really help as it has been quite a while since i sold my 182 and dont want to pay over the odds

and it sounds like a standard 182 (non-cup and not cup packed)

not sure of the price but check autotrader/pistonheads for the same model and see how much theyre going for

RB's rarely go for less than 3k.

Also check the service history to find out when the cambelt change was done as that could set you back a few quid.

Wow, those are some pretty special ebay bargains.

I think a fair price for the OPs car is 2.5k tops with the faults listed.

Depends which minor tidying faults you can live with and how much the abs and headlamp will cost to put right. Steering wheel is 120 (mint one on gumtree right now) but proably the easiest to live with. 4 wheels will be 100-250 to be refurbed. I paid 2.7k 1 month ago for similar miles and service hist but without the faults listed (1 road wheel does need a refurb tho).

^^^Absolutely right I Bet they are knackered in one way or another plus a well looked after one would soon be snapped up and not even make it to ebay!!

^ Well its either that or there are so many out there (take the other 70 odd on ebay, most of which are traders) that dont sell, that these sellers got fed up / desparate to sell, and sold for what the market was willing to pay? There was no suggestion that these hadnt had their belts done at all, most if not all have a FSH.

thanks for all the feedback lads much appreciated i am still debating whether or not to go for it, guy has dropped price to £2750 but as said dont think its worth any more than 2.5k. might just hang on and find thr right rb as you say there selling for insanely low prices right now

exactly what i was thinking!!! theres so many good ones out there if you stretched your budget tadge more, id rather save lil more and get a better example.

Same here. Lets be honest, they're 6+ year old Clio's, it's unrealistic to think even 'mint' ones won't need money spending on them.
