Too much gearstick movement? (quickshift)

My quick shift gearstick moves ALOT in any gear and even in neutral.

The whole stick moves up and down in the base and is very loose side to side.

What can i do to stop this?

Is it worth putting the standard pin back on?

This hapens in non sports and definatly in mine. Its down to gear mounts apparently

Car came with the pin fitted due so i dont know.

Mine moves a lot aswell (standard)
My mum has a 1.6 Megane and that moves a lot aswell. I think its just the way they are! I had new mounts fitted and it still moves.

Gearstick is now popping up and down when letting off the throttle at high revs?!?!?

might be your mounts, mine used to do this, but i have a standard shifter

Andy, Take the gearstick off and aat the bottom of it there is a circle with like a mount thing... you need to replace the thing...

Worth a shot as its gonna be the cheapest thing to replace lol xxx
