top mounts slightly raised

hi guys
since i lowered my mk2 ph2 1.2 60mm my top mounts have raised slightly (can just about get my little finger between the mount and the bodywork) will upload pics soon
this clerance is causing movemet in the strut, dose this always happen when lowering?
am i right in thinking that the camber would be changing all the time when driving with this movement?

Same thing has happend to me but weirdly seems to be only on one side :/

the passanger side seems to be higher on mine tbf
i have noticed that it understeers alot more now aswell but only when going round a right hand bend

yeah it feels quite weird but gonna change the syspension to an uprated one because dont think the standard shocks like lowering springs lool
