Been waiting for ebc rp1 for 4 months now and cba anymore. Need to try alternatives.

Don't want rpx again, they're excellent but the dust is bedding into my wheels.

Not keen on mintex anymore after they moved from the m1155/1166.

Pbs don't last at all and too dusty for road.

Which others are as good as rpx/rp1 but are around 150 quid?

DS1.11s are pricey but last ages compared to something like PBS pro race. I've used them a lot and rate them highly.

Yeah knew they'd get a mention. Double the price but maybe double the wear?

Do they squeal any on the road?

Ferodo Ds1.11. Ive never had them fade and last for ages as endurance pad, managed 5 trackdays on my last set. Stop great from cold.

Expect some squeal off any race pad when not up to optimal temp though.

Yeah a bit when they're not up to temp but I tend to get a seasons worth of track days out of one front set and they're never lacking in performance. I think the price is worth it.

Ds1.11 are mega, but Winmax W5 are my favourite I’ve used.
They last for ages, but i can’t really comment on the dust. I used to clean my wheels generally after every trackday.

I don’t think you’re gonna get a high end track pad without the harsh dust.

Dust isn't too bad but the rpx pads seem to be absolutely nuts. Any condensation or puddle water on them when they're dusty and the rust cakes onto the wheel! Never known any pad to do it

Ds1.11 as said above are great value, lasted ages on my 182 with Brembo calipers. Wore way better than the PBS Prorace that probably wouldn't have lasted four days. Got a good six or seven days out of the ds1.11 and they kept performing even when wearing low. (I know I need to drive harder 😂).

The cup racer PFC pads are brilliant if you can find any. Never any fade on a heavy old 225 but the dust isn’t great from them.

DS1.11 will eat your wheels. As will any proper pad.

Only solution is to put a decent coating on the wheels, and wash them before they get wet. 5 mins with a jetwash will do it if you've coated them.

Yeah done all that and I jetwash them off after a td. Rpx are the only pad that seem to do this. But a lot is down to the wheel design too I guess. The hub section has a massive dished part that collects water that runs out of the lugs and that's where it seems to stick
