Trophy / V6 rear spoiler

Just spotted this on ebay.

Quite tempted to go for it seeing it already the right colour The seller states "All it needs is the 172 rear spoiler brake light to complete the look" is that correct?

Did I read somewhere you need shorter boot struts? cos the spoiler will catch the roof?

its the aerial it catches on, but he's supplying a shorter aerial so you wont need shorter struts

looks odd. i thort the v6 and trophy had an oval brake light in it, where as that looks more like a larger 172 spoiler, with standard light that kinda wraps around the corner.

yeah that is just the 172 spoiler or mk 1 V6 spoiler which is the same as a 172's

doesnt make sense he says its off a 2003 V6 which would have the larger spoiler, but he puts up a picture of the Ph1 V6 with the smaller spoiler, the spoiler looks like a normal 172 one to me

technically its impossible to say from the angle he's posted. if the car is the right spoiler, then obviously its not the one everyone wants.

i was going to put that you dont need the struts (as most people think you do) but my car is perfect without them.
