Update on my 197 Cup

A few months ago I posted up a few photos of my 197 Cup which started life with me like this

Since then I started with this little lot

Replaced the co-op GB boredered plates and tax disk holder with plan plates and a 197.net tax disk holder.
Wiperblades.co.uk - own brand wiper blades - which are truly awful and have fallen apart. So much for Auto Express Product Awards.
Silvertec Indicator Bulbs

Off came the Rhino Horn failures of exhaust trims and on went some more subtle ones while I save for a milltek system.

Added a black diamond to the back

And some RS Mats

H&R Springs arrived along with one of my projector headlamps

Springs went on

Replaced the number plate lights with LED ones

Then my other projector arrived.

Only to find one was a HID one and the other a non HID one so drove around looking like a numpty for a day.

Also added LEDs to the front lights.

quite a difference!

The other non HID light turned up and this is how it stands now

Next month I hope to add the RS front splitter, then will be saving up for a Milltek system.

Car looks really nice where did u get the hids? When you get the splitter are u getting the side skirts to match? I just fitted both to mine looks well nice now should get a 200 rear splitter on it to

No HID kit, the photos are just the side lights.

Yeah I will eventually - I'd prefer to get splitter then Milltek then skirts and none of these are exactly cheap.

Cheers. I'm stilll undecided on it. It's only a stick on so easily fixed. When I get chance I'm going to colour code the centre, I think that this will improve the looks of it.

Personally I feel more confident with the car and think that it"s more planted. The only downside is that they are very crashy/firm so you really get thrown around. I see lots of other people getting eibachs instead atm

I won't be colour coding the side strips, I quite like the black/white contrast.

Sorry, I probably should have explained. There are too types of projectors for 197s. HID and Non HID. These are non HIDs and run standard H7 bulbs. The lights that are turned on in the photos are 501 LEDs for sidelights.

I didn't want to dazzle people with stupidly bright HIDs or have HIDs with no washers etc.

The photos all come up green :s but they are just bright white in person.

Judging by the size of it, how much its sleeps and eats, I'd say it's a standard cat. No way in hell it's a sports cat.

I'd usually agree....however on this one I feel the black bump strips, mirrors and door handles breaks it up a bit and goes with the whole black and white contrast thing. Yours looks awesome though.

look over eBay time after time. I went through all 7 pages. one cost 50 delivered the other was 99 delivered, both genuine new items.. Make sure you pm the seller to see if the take H7 or HID bulbs to make sure you get a matching pair. This is where i came unstuck :/

I felt the diffuser looked a bit plain without the tips personally.

They are Valeo projector headlights. Genuine renault item. Not cheap, worth hunting down on ebay.
