URGENT HELP!

HI MY CAR IS BOOBED, THE DOGBONE MOUNT HAS SNAPED, I HAVE CHANGED THIS, NOW THE GEARBOX MOUNT ISVERY LOOSE, AFTER ALL DAY GETTING A NEW MANIFLOD AND EXHAUST AS WHEN THE MOUNT WENT DO DID EVERYTHNG ATTATCHED TO THE ENGINE,



ANY WAY, I HAVE GOT TO THE GEARBOX MOUNT AND I NEED TO TIGHTEN IT UP, BUT I AM HAVING IMENSE TROUBLE DOING THIS, HOW THE FOOOOOOOOOOOK DO U DO IT.....SEE PICS

WHEN I TURN THE BOLT THE WHOLE RUBBER MOUNT MOVES, I HAVE THE GEARBOX LIFTED ON A JACK BUT THE BLOODY THING WONT BUDGE

Err I aint gona be much help.... I undo them with an airgun and a deep socket, they are tight but come off OK with an airgun.

Try a set of mole grips on the bottom of the bolt and have a go at undoing it then with a big f**k off bar.

i have got a socket over it, cant get it to budge, i need to tighten it up, do you have to loosen it first to free it? when you say mole grips on the bolt, do you mean under the mount?

yeah under the mount, you need the nut off to tighten the stud, then refit mount and nut.
