Using instant camera that came with 182

Hi to all of you reading this forum,

Well, as you may have found in my previous topic I picked my VaVa but it couldnt go without NIGGLES. Splitter partly damaged and not fitted on, plus bumper deformation.

But, hey guys there was a little positive surprise. The car came with so-called EMERGENCY PACK containing 17-takes instant camera, a ballpoint pen, some phone nos and a kiddy flashlight (battery incl.). Good thing, right.

So, off I went and take not 17 but 13! shots of that bumper and splitter. Happily, I got me also a signed delivery record to confirm the case.

People, I think its about time I start laughing. This is a 1st class comedy directed by you know you.

VaVaVoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo /oh I am hitting red line / gosh where is that green blinker!?

Probably a "luck of the draw" thing, either that or the dealer swipes em as they come in.

Although I think someone said they got theirs through the post?

I remember a few saying they came in the post. Ive got to go and collect my autochanger cable at some point his week so Ill ask then.

I received mine via the post, I also got some letter about my car being registered on a security register. Anyone else have this sent through?

Yeah I got mine through the post. I had a phone call from Renault before that and I asked when it would be sent. The lady said it should be on its way. Days later, sure enough it appeared.

If you dont get one after a few weeks, phone up Renault and as where it is.

I popped to get my autochanger cable earlier and totally forgot to ask. Im sure I can live without it.

they come in the post, about 6 week after. Just after you get your welcome to renault pack.

the cd autochanger cables are £80 worth keeping hold of!

£86:( The autochanger was factory fitted in my 172 so the cable was tied into god knows what.

Ive just been and put the new one in the 182 though and now have an autochanger at last, and I even moved the little storage thing to under the drivers seat.

did it gone ok then Lee?
PITA? Or Easy?

storage bin, is it a straight fit under the drivers seat then?

Cable was simple as. Took me no time at all.

The storage bin seemed angled to fit better under the passenger seat but it still went, and the carpet is already cut on both sides so you just pull the bits out that are covering the holes.

prob mentioned it before, but the changer I had in my dynamique was under drivers seat and this jept the box under passenger seat. Now I was going to get changer fitted under drivers again in my 182, on the black metal mounting bracket, and i would have if it wasnt for the sat nav computer under drivers seat, so the box got binned. Did you try putting your changer under drivers Lee?

p.s whos that on your avatar?

Initially I thought Id put it under the passenger seat as the cuts were there in the carpet and the cable run was easy. So thats what I did. Then I wondered if the storage bin would go under the drivers seat, which it did. I prefer it under the passenger seat as I can reach across and get at it easily. And Ive got somewhere to put my tyre foam still.

Thats Lindsay Lohan. :D

had the car 4 months now and nothing! Also, what the hell is a welcome to renault pack?

Did you have to take dash apart Lee? or just remove headunit and run cable up behind the glovebox?

dave its a little classy blue folder with helpful infor in, my accident pack isnt here yet either but they assure me its on its way.

I got me those photos developed and they are just fine. I will prepare some electronic versions.

And now I am off to prepare a complaint/reclamation.
Which means "push&pull games" with R Clientele Service (Customer Service).

Aint nuthin but a low-down dirty shame, dont you agree?

I just removed the head unit, there seems less room behind there than I had on the 172, and ran it down the centre console and along the bottom of the glove box. I have some little sticky plastic squares which you put a cable tie through to retain the cable. I used the clip they supply to clip it to the metal thing just above the bonnet release then ran it the route Renault take.

Good look with your complaint Va Va Voom.
