Usuaul Renault service.

I am sick of trying to find positives of renault service. It is just not accpetable.

Tried to book my car in to have the 4k rattle looked at again. The nearest appointment was nearly two weeks of when Im holiday. I explained this and they then said well why dont I leave it with them while im holiday!!!!! Erm, no, after the last time when the gargae was broken into and some customers wheels were stolen, the fact they covered over 30miles in the car last time they had it for a day that was definitley not going to happen.

Also found out an interesting fact, that they have only 5 diagnostic slots per day, annoying as they have already had two attempts to diagnose the fault.

Really starting to P**s me off again, and i dont see why I should be forced to buy replacement performance exhaust cause the 4k rattle is doing my head in.

Mine has just started now I have covered 9200 miles. Was OK when I left it with the garage on thurs. When I picked it up on Sat am it has a loud buzz at 4k rpm. I have decided to live with it, if I can till Jan 2004 when I plan to fit the Ktec twin pipe.

This is becoming such a common fault, get them to replace the mid section of the exhaust, this has cured it for me and a lot of other people.

I was there last Tues, supposed to get 4k rattle, driver door rattle, pisher bottle, 12k service & cup splitter.

Gotta go back for the 4k rattle & door, despite me taking it down a month before so they could have a look and order the parts they told me they had the parts when I checked a week before going in

Despite all that, try to speak to Antony in service, he has a CUP, is very helpful and knows the common problems.

Think I will go performance zorst & replacement sports cat

I also had the 4K rattle. Had the center section replaced, but the rattle returned a few weeks later. So I thought, save up for an aftermarket exhaust. 6000 miles later, Still got the same rattling exhaust, but this time without the rattle......it seems the exhaust needs time to bed in. 10000 miles later, still no rattle.

The problem is that the midsection and cat were replaced in July and I have lived with it then in the hope kniaevely that it will be sorted. Mine seems to make the echo through the dash. As the centre section fractured last time, Im concerned that its gonna do it agian.
