Hi everyone, The girlfriend and I decided to have a road trip to Wales over the weekend between christmas and new year.
Day1
So we set off at 6.30 saturday morning from Derby. Temperature about 0 degrees. We had decided to take the A5 route so we could go around the mountains then into Anglesey and Holyhead.
Well after just entering Wales on the A5 the temperature was -5 degrees and looked like this when the sun had risen:
Then at Chapel Curig we decided to take the A4086 to Caernarfon:
Caernarfon Castle:
Then we headed to Beddgelert on the A4085 and then onto the A498 to get back onto the A5:
Then we got back onto the A5 over the Britannia Bridge and headed towards Holyhead for the sunset:
Day 2
We wanted to see south stack lighthouse in the light so when back there and took a few more photos:
Then we did the coast of Holyhead and then all around Anglesey:
Trearddur Bay:
Church Bay:
Beaumaris:
We had to check out this bridge (The Menai Bridge):
Then wanted to case the sunset again so headed off to the west side of Anglesey, We got to Aberffraw Bay:
We could not resist not taking a photo at night of the Menai Bridge so we went back:
Day 3
Home time day, we headed back in the morning because we needed to be back for 5pm.
We decided a nice walk around Aber Falls at -2 degress would get us set for the journey home lol:
A quick stop in Llandudno:
Then arrived back home with a nice Clean car:
