Ive heard that if youve got washers and they dont work, you fail an mot.... but if you dont have them at all with xenons, they dont test them cause there non-existant, so you cant fail on them. Pretty sure its true cause it makes sense to me.
this... if you have them they HAVE to work, if they are not there - no worries, but if the car came with them on your model they have to be there and working...

Yeah yours definatley needs one Havnt updated this in a while, but i can confirm i'm making it a Replica basically Been gathering all the parts together and ive bought:
172 Front bumper
172 wings
172 skirts
25mm Spacers so the wheels arnt hiding away in the arches
Carbon cup washer blanks
Skoda splitter
And ive also bought the sheepish smaller front plate cause it looks cool along with a 10mm shorter plate both ways for the rear. Jail bait ftw.
So all i need now is a 172 rear bumper if anyone has one??? In pearl black prefrably!
Havnt had chance to fit any of it yet cause im working 6 days a week. Will get some pictures up soon of some of the bits

Been gathering all the parts together and ive bought:172 Front bumper
172 wings
172 skirts

Awesome progress mate wouldn't mind nabbing the non-sport front bumper off you if you get rid of it... need one to smooth and replaces mine and I'm going I little more euro... Lol but can't wait to see the kit fitted on yours pal

Managed to get my hands on a 172 rear bumper off TonkaTruck aka Steven
Ive also found some wings just need the funds for these then they are mine... so the rep will be complete in a couple of weeks bar a few little niggly things that need sorting.

Should have my 172 wings in a week or two Full replica here we come! Got a big to do list for the car so i'll be updating it when i can.
To do list:
(When the wings arrive) Fit those along with the 172 bumper & Skirts.
Fit wheel spacers.
Fit new number plates (Smaller one to fit the 172 bumper recess & a slightly smaller one for the rear)

Then to finish it, a good Detail and a wheel refurb as i kerbed my wheel pulling out the way for an ambulance a few weeks back

Haha i know i would of it i had bought the right bloody wings in the first place! Nooo just keeping the engine standard, tempted to get a 182 or a 197 next car though

So seeing as though the weather was good on saturday i took advantage of it and decided to fit my 172 Bumper and wings, took me a fair few hours as some bolts where rusty and would not come off etc, a lot of swear words where invlovled lol. Anyway, it was definatley worth it! Love the look of it now, still got a few things left to fit. Spacers, skirts, splitter, fog lights and new rear plate. Here are some photos i took during and after and then after i cleaned it.
Lights need wet sanding and buffing, on the to do list
Reflection shot after wash + wax.
