450 Trouble free miles, 450 on the back of a recovery lorry, 1 cliosport meet, 1 gearbox, 1 clutch, 2 arches, 1 hub, 1 driveshaft, 2 disks, 2 alloys, 1 caliper...

It's been a rocky start to the willy relationship...But driving it today for the first time in 5months made it worth while!!

Going to take a few pics with pinky tomo!

Fitted the std springs today...Keepin her std lookin!

Agree'd...But if you seen it in real life you'd change your mind!! They look fantastic! I wanted to keep the yellow fogs, but couldn't source a new set.

No deal, if i was keepin the 172 i'd put a set on that! They really do look quality, this coming from the person that hates a euro style theme

I want complete honesty here, how many people have looked at Ali's Williams in this thread and then gone straight onto Pistonheads and autotrader to see if they can find one. I will admit to it!

in the third picture Ali it looks like something is hanging underneath the car that is not connected - just thought Id check, dont want it ending up in a hedge!!

looks mint - quite jealous - would love a minter, would have to lower the rear a touch but I get what your doing with the unmodded look.

i laugh when i read this from mark 2 owners, its like think they are from the stone age and all they do is break down, i know quite a few mark 1's that are far more reliable than 172's / 182's etc, they have the same amount of seats, same size boot roughly so it makes no sense what you said above really
