Met up with a mate earlier and wnet for a run out, neither car is clean and the quality of pictures is piss poor but you can blame Sony Ericsson for that ;)
Starting to get comfortable with the car again and even though its not mapped properly, it goes well enough! Theres not alot in it at all from the bottom of 2nd to 120 odd with this Ibiza which is remapped....

be proud of that sticker lad;)....you should be keeping up with the VAG its the 150 hp version lad:D

are them indevidual coils i see on scrags motor?? if id fook them of streigh away!!!

He has a RR printout for 204bhp mate! Yeah he had one changed on friday!

I'll get some vids up when its mapped, lol.....

Yeah, that or a cleft lip and I'd be pretty gutted TBH....

Need some money for the bodyshop though, Looks all half finished inside.

Its a custom Angelworks Plenum fella, the standard 1600 one is crappy plastic and the throttle body is roght at the back poiting at the bulkhead. Its really torquey aswell considering how short the runners are.....

May just go for a set of bike carbs on mine, should give a nice boost for lesser cash:)

Carbs or ITB's? With carbs, I dont know how you're gonna run your ignition set-up. They use pencil coils controlled by the ecu remember....

No idea dude, not been on th RR for setting up yet!

Just getting ideas really, has an article on it in PFC, i believe an aftermarket ecu is a necessity though, which would put the price up a little more.

Yeah you'll need an aftermarket ECU with loom, AFAIK you'll have to swap to coilpack and leads, Id go with ITB's over carbs, youll need the manifold for that, possibly injectors but im not 100% on the duty cycle of the standards, filter, throttle linkage, has yours got AC?

You'll need to make some brackets up to remove that and get a belt the right length too.....

Nice work Dave, another one not built for comfort then lol!

I did spot the maxogen + a few different bits & pieces under the bonnet at FCS, but it was a bit crowded at the time round your motor to get a proper peek at what was going on under there.

It's good to see a few pics in the thread to have a nosey at mate.

Sounded good when you were blipping it at the show too!

Cheers Tay! Nah, I'm not overly fussed about noise etc at the minute, that'll come later in life ;) The seat is super comfy though on long runs!

I'd of left it open for people to have a nose but the wind was mental! Car was looking tatty as hell too having finished the base map friday night/saturday morning and fitted the 2 wheel bearings on saturday afternoon, lol!

Yeah no probs, I saw you changing the bonnet over first thing so had a sneeky peek as you worked on it.

Wind was dangerous on the day mate so dont blame you leaving it closed Matt said the same about the clioTT.
