i drove the demo 182 with both cup packs on it, i must admit it was a nicer drive, didnt really notice any power difference but it had very low miles on it so would still be tight..

has anyone fitted a 182 backbox to a 172? and do the athracite 182 wheels fit stright on too? id imagine they would, and the dealer said they could change the exhaust/bumper for me too, but i didnt ask a price lol

You cant fit a 182 backbox (as you put it) to a 172. The 182 doesnt have a spare wheel well in order to fit the twin boxes. Thats why the can of foam are in the boot.

The manifold I think you mean. GDI will do so I believe. The wheels are a straight swap no problem! Always a set of ebay (unlike the Cups Turinis which are quite sort after!)

I went from a VTR to a Cup to. Always think I should have bought the 172 though.......

Theres is nothing in any of the RS Clios in the real world. Although from outside the Cup looks by far the best of all the mk2 2.0 Clios

and the little gear shift light is class,
Never seen the point of this apart from a bit of a gimmick? It would make more sense if there were a build-up to it - but isnt that what the tacho is for?

I always used to think the light was the "Prepare to hit the limiter" light. It comes on just before the limiter, and i always thought the Cup could do with about 500-1000rpm more.
Its not as if its really in your field of view, tucked away in the corner, would have been better situated in the middle of the dash and as you said, maybe have a amber light before to warn that its impending.

You can have my 03 model with half the mileage for that! and 11 months remaining warranty!
^^^^this is a mega clean Cup. I would go with this one rather than from a dealer.
