What throttle body?

Numerous people have said the 1.8 8v throttle body would fit onto my RT?...

I phoned up some spares, they said the RSi one didn't fit (multi point injection???) but the SPI laguna one would fit?

Is that the right one?

and for £40, is it worth it?

Considering i'll be getting megane bottom end and ported and polished head in the near future?

Also, would I need to change the ECU if I get just the megane bottom end and throttle body?

yes it will fit, the spi one you need, and thats a lil steep price tbh. the inlet manifold would be ideally matched to the tb. no need to change the ecu etc. for head work ask BenR or Chris H on retro-renault.com

sorry to hijack, but would this fit to the 1.6 8v lump? also would this be the ideal one or is there a different one people would recommend? How easy are they to fit if you have only a little mechanical knowledge?

It probably will, not sure, some mechanical knowlodge would help, don't think it would be tooo hard...

Yes thats right and it is worth it.

Won't need to change the ECU as it does fook all anyway if you 1.6 it.
