the old supercharged vee with the sequentual box was quick!! the yoz cup is a fast car too!! i hear the k tec turbo 172 is quick too but it didn't look too fast at FCS!!
That white stripped Mk1 with the bodied williams lump was about 240bhp I think (can't remember whos it was), that must shift pretty well.

216bhp on Cambridge Motorsport rollers it made.
Ben - yeah, James = JR = Dash
hmm who cars if its N/A.? its all about the fastest car. N/A or forced IMO. if ppl make excuses that its N/A and lost to a forced car.they know what they have to do lol..

Besides which, I've yet to go on track in a turbo car that was better handling or quicker than a n/a as a rule. I'm sure Yoz might agree as well, given his "weedy" 250 bhp 172 cup...

Any old monkey can slap on a blower (of either description) and add another 50 bhp+ and state that their car is brilliant and faster. Not any old engine builder can build a n/a car that runs properly and is powerful though. It's an art form.

that maybe so, but the topic of conversation is the FASTEST N/A CLIO, it's not about making excuses. With turbo's the power is almost limitless, with N/A there's more of an art to extracting the power reliably and without having an F1 engine build bill at the end of it all.

im sure N/A cars pushing them to there limits (270bhp)? isnt going to be cheap in parts.the same as a 350+bhp turbo isnt.depending who does it.
but who cares about art if your going slower? i know the person in front wont worry about it much.

turbo's are great for chavs that like to "wind up da boost y0!", but I'd rather have a slower 270bhp NA car than a blown 350bhp laggy on/off turbo that is completely undrivable and useless on a track or road for that matter. I'll stick to my used daily and 100% reliable, but slower NA thanks, I live to have power from 2-8k

hmm un driveable 350bhp car?? mapping a turbo car is a art! and turbo cars chav? have u seen how many chavs own N/A cars? with v-tec yo.? i think you will find all the FASTEST cars are turbos. id rather have alittle lag with a turbo then never ending lag with N/A lol.
there is nothing wrong with N/A. it justs cost alot of money to not go that fast.but yes a high reving car sounds nice.
