wheelchair battery in a car?



i want a lightweight car battery that doesnt cost the earth and found these on ebay

they list for a car but they are wheelchair batterys. anyone used one of these in a car. i only need it to start and run engine on track. occaisional light flashing may be needed lol.

iv read about cranking power so know car batterys work differently but would it start my car anyway?

I used a golf trolley battery in my mx5 track car, also used a fair few normal journeys as well.

Never had any issues even in the winter last year

I've got a Haze 18ah. It's great about about £45. Used some heavy duty Velcro to fix it.

Get the gel type battery, they're happier with constant recharging and being drained.
