Wheels slipping on full lock

Bit of an odd one this, but from cold, when I'm on full lock it feels like the wheels are slipping and there is a banging through the steering wheel.
It almost feels like the drive shaft is struggling to make full contact with the wheel. But once the car is a little warmer, it goes away.
Not the most technically minded, but I think it describes the problem. Has anybody ever come across this?

Have the same problem with mine, asume its just a Clio problem!

But it never happen before, left it standing for just under 2 weeks, came back and it's there. I would have noticed it beforehand as I always have to back out of my parking space!!

mine does it - seems to get worse in frosty weather!

Yep... here too. Discovered it on wet leaves. Glad its not just me then....

think its to do with the wide rubber, it seems to 'chew' on full lock, not a nice feeling, and its the only car i've experienced with the problem, very noticable in slippy conditions
