Why hasn't the 197/R27 not got drilled discs?

As above, i noticed today whilst flicking through the latest Renault brouchure that the Renault sport Megane's have drilled discs, but the RS clios don't.

Why is this?

I'm not a great fan of drilled discs, had them on an M3 and the noise under breaking was awful. Apparently that is quite normal.

The noise on a 225 with drilled discs is very irritating.

I'm glad the 197s don't have them.

discs are drilled to help cooling.

on a smaller car like the 197 they are not needed, but on the 225/230 there is more weight for the brakes to pull to a stop, therefore more heat is created. Hence why Renault put drilled discs on them.
